 Wine:  Shhhh - Cavas at Dominio de la Vega (DV) are Valencia's best kept secret. This boutique winery has created quite a buzz with their quality sparkling wines.  While recently visiting family and friends in Spain, we tried DV Cavas ourselves and immediately understood why all the fuss.  And to sweeten the deal, they sell for a fraction of what you would pay for a comparable Champagne. ¡Qué guay! (How cool is that!)

DV's Expression Brut Reserva is more bling for less cha-ching.  A fabulous pale gold Cava with fine bubbles and hints of apple & citrus fruits.  Crisp, dry with good acidity and overall well balanced.  A delight to have on its own or with fish, seafood, salads, rice dishes, or even spicy food.

 About Winery:  Dominio de la Vega is a small, family owned winery located in the heart of D.O. Utiel-Requena and also shares DO Cava for its sparkling wines. It’s situated on the eastern coast of Spain in Valencia just south of Barcelona. The terroir consists of sandy and conglomerate soils and it has a typical Mediterranean climate.
